Alexa Fleming I am Rapunzel, the peasent. I believe in all my heart that King John is Guilty of these outrageous claims against him. While our dear king has made some people upset with his actions, During the trial I expect to see both sides passionately fighting for what they believe. In the end the king will be justified in his actions and found GUILTY by a jury of his peers. For my prop, I am have a tra the represents a noble who made sign the Magna Carta.
Sierra B My name is Rafael My opinion is i think he is guilty for all the action he did to his people and his kingdom. i expect to see that King John gets less power and hes equal to everybody My prop is a bible
LizethG I am Court Jester. I believe that King John is guilty even tho some people believe he is innocent he still deserves some punishment for the actions he did to his kingdom and his own people. What i expect to see during the trial is King John guilty and both sides fight for what they want for King John. My prop is money in my golden bag with my jokes for everyone to hear.
Lucas Wordell: I am Pinocchio the peasant. I believe that King John is guilty of all claims against him, and he probably broke even more rules than we know of. King John has been acting very selfishly by raising taxes and trying to take over the church. He has kept raising taxes at an extremely high rate, and it seems that he has not even thought about lowering them. This is money that the poorer people of England need to have a good chance of surviving, and he definitely doesn’t need this money. I believe that he has no purpose for the taxes other than increasing his wealth. He has not taken any action in trying to make England a better place for common people to live. He also refuses to follow almost every rule of the Magna Carta, even after he signed it. After causing all of these problems in the church, he still goes to the church for advice. Whenever he asks for advice, he does not follow it. Maybe if he followed their advice, he would be a decent king. King John deserves to be punished for his actions. I believe that he will be punished for his unlawfulness, and it would be outrageous if he weren’t. I plan on wearing a white t-shirt, peasant jeans, and bringing in a rotten apple that I attempted to raise as my props tomorrow, for the apple shows my hard work, and my clothes show how little I get paid.
Tiger Schwartz: I"m the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I am against King John. He is a awful person. I am here to prove my previous statement. In my speech I talk about how King John is an economically bad person. He doesn't know when to stop taking and start giving. As mentioned below there are some good points on what I talk about and ways to prove that King John is guilty on all counts. It think there might be some serious arguing when it comes time for court day. It might get a little ugly. I am wearing a nobles attire plus a flat-top hat. I like to where cool clothes.
Witness: Nobles and Barons – Fresh Prince of Bel Air Opinion: AGAINST King John
Speaking Points: üThe king has constantly not lived up to the legacy of his brother, King Richard üHe has put our troops/knights in danger in foreign lands üPays no respect to our opinions üRaises taxes with out providing and compensation/return üTogether/united the Barons can be more powerful
Ajurcago I am Boo Boo Bear, peasant that is against King John and his wrongdoings. King John the first, is guilty because, he always is raising taxes and interferes with the church all the time. King John is going to be guilty of number sixty on the Magna Carta. You can expect that King John will be proven guilty of his crimes against most people of England. My costume will be a dress that is light blue, and a jean jacket with a belt, and leggings.
Mgirn:
I am Yogi Bear. I’m a peasant that works on the fields and grow crops. I believe King John is guilty because he broke law sixty that states that everyone has to follow the laws. He is raising harsh taxes for the benefit of himself. He doesn't have the right to since he signed the Magna Carta. I hope King John is pleaded guilty and will lose his right to act as our king. I plan on bringing in a basket that represents me being a peasant. I work on the fields and collect and grow crops and the basket can represent what I put the crops in.
Trevor Lazor3/17/14Mini-Bio for Mock Trial
I am Sir Ferb, and I am loyal to many lords. I believe King John is guilty for the crimes he has committed. I went to fight in France just for his own personal reasons. We were unsuccessful. My opinion of King John is that he is power-hungry and he wants to control everyone and raise taxes really high. I expect to see many witnesses against King John. I also expect to see his friends and family supporting him. I expect King John to be found guilty at the end of the trial. For my prop, I will bring in a plastic weapon. Strong talking point - King John paid mercenaries (hired soldiers) instead of paying his knights.
Jason Bliss: I am Friar Tucker the monk. King John has pushed his boundaries too far and something needs to be done about this. He has made the taxes very high and still does not follow the rules of the magna carta he signed. What i expect to see during the trail is good presentations for both sides that will make me second my judgement about King John and a good trail over all. What i plan to take in as my prop is and brown cloak with a cross necklace to show my religious side.

I am Sir Phineas, one of the knights. I know that all King John did during his time of rule was upset his people. No one had a say or rights. Therefore, the King should be proven guilty during this trial. When these events took place the King felt a need only to do what he thought was right which caused the disagreement between him and France. This was also the start of the War of Normandy. During the trial I expect to see many people fighting for what they think is right and proving their point. My prop is going to be a shield. This shows how the knights fought to protect.
